A new contemporary four-bedroom house in Dallas’ Greenway Parks has an outdoor feel

This light-filled contemporary home in Dallas’ Greenway Parks neighborhood was completed in 2020. The house has an open-concept design in the main living areas. Large windows throughout the home provide views of the tree-lined property.

Situated at 5309 Wenonah Drive on a 0.36-acre lot, the home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half-bathroom.

Co-listing agent Ann Shaw said the architect and builder worked to preserve the trees on the property, giving the home an indoor-outdoor feel.

“You feel like you’re almost outside when you’re in the house,” Shaw said.

The home is 4,639 square feet and has two levels. The lower level includes the main living area which is an open-concept design with two living spaces, the kitchen and a dining area. A light-filled foyer leads into the home, and one of the living areas sits just inside the entrance and has enough space for two couches.

The dining area sits between that first living space and the kitchen, all with views of the backyard through large windows. The kitchen has a countertop island for food preparation or dining, and built-in cabinets provide storage space.

A second living area, or family room, sits on the other side of the kitchen and has a fireplace and views of the backyard through another set of large windows.

Shaw said one of the best qualities of the Greenway Parks neighborhood is that homeowners care about architectural design and have ensured that homes don’t loom over each other. She said the neighborhood doesn’t have a crowded feel.

The primary suite sits on the first level of the home along with one other bedroom. The primary bedroom has large windows that overlook the property and a bathroom with two sinks and a separate bathtub and shower.

The two remaining bedrooms sit on the second level of the home along with a third living space. Outside, there’s a covered patio at the back of the house, complete with a fireplace. The pool has a spa and there’s additional seating space beside the pool.

The home is on the market for $3,400,000, listed by Madeline Jobst and Ann Shaw of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
