Enjoy this job interview with Scott Gardner to hear far more from him about the show’s heritage.
Just as our hair and styles have altered above the several years, so has the format of the display. In the early days, there had been a large amount of two-section episodes. The show showcased large-scale, prolonged jobs from my building organization, so breaking every single just one up into two episodes built sense.
Presently, we concentration on lesser assignments so we can full them in a couple times. That way, our viewers can see the project from start off to end in each and every 30-minute episode.

A further point that’s altered about the decades is the aim on the property owner. Many years back, you would never see the home owner. We targeted on the contractors doing work on the jobs, and I would intermittently pop in to give some clarification on the function becoming completed.
Now, the owners operate on each individual venture, and frequently they’re what would make the display so entertaining. Viewing them efficiently complete their jobs conjures up our audience and offers anyone who’s seeing the demonstrate a feeling of “I can do this much too!”
