Jinx McDonald Interior Designs transforms LeCiel condo into beach retreat

Jinx McDonald Interior Designs, Inc. (JMID) recently completed the remodel of a condominium located on Gulfshore Boulevard, transforming it into the owner’s personal beach retreat.

“The design goal of this project was to make the space livable yet sophisticated with a coastal vibe while enhancing the beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico this condo has,” said Minka McDonald, President of Jinx McDonald Interior Designs. “This transformed home is relaxed and comfortable, yet very chic!”

As you enter the newly remodeled three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,145 square foot condominium, the great room is painted a crisp white to keep the space open and airy. Natural, organic textures are showcased throughout the furnishings for balance and contrast.

In the kitchen, the variegated backsplash of handmade aqua tiles sets off the white kitchen cabinets and the Quartz countertops. The breakfast room was turned into a secondary lounge and television viewing area, with swivel chairs that can turn to also take in the beach view.
