In fact, one of the brand’s customer-favorite models is said to deliver “incredible” sound quality while simultaneously displaying a pretty cool light show.

While JBL’s top-notch portable Bluetooth speakers run between $40 and $500 (with all models including Amazon Alexa capabilities and waterproof designs), the Pulse 3 option remains an absolute customer-favorite.

Now, on sale for $108 off its original retail price, this item is said to combine “360 sound with a 360 light show.”

The speaker also comes with a built-in rechargeable battery “that delivers up to 12 hours of playtime,” according to its product description. Like all other JBL speaker releases, its housing is made of IPX7 waterproof material, allowing for a worry-free poolside, beachfront or shower-listening experience.

Another feature that sets this speaker apart from others, is its noise and echo-canceling capabilities.

After dubbing it an “amazing” purchase, one five-star reviewer added, “This speaker is amazing! The lights on it are so sick! The sound quality and bass are incredible!”

The shopper also went on to add that the unboxing experience “was also pretty dope for those of you who enjoy those little things.”

Speaking to its ease of use, another reviewer shared that “pairing was very easy and fast” and the sound quality is “very clear and crisp with balanced bass.”

The same five-star reviewer also tested the waterproof claim, adding, “I put the JBL Pulse 3 in a sink full of water, and yes it is waterproof. It floats!”

Shoppers didn’t express any major drawbacks about the speaker. One reviewer who praised the speaker for being “a conversation piece” and gushed about the audio being “loud enough to fill up a three-bedroom apartment,” also added that his “only con” is not with the speaker itself, but rather with the JBL app. “It’s pretty buggy,” he wrote.
