New Ronald McDonald House program allows volunteers to cook for families

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Ronald McDonald Dwelling Charities of Kentuckiana is providing a new way for volunteers to enable serve households in need to have.

The new Meals From The Heart plan is a new “chef-led” experience permits volunteers to perform with a chef to cook a meal for Ronald McDonald House families, in accordance to a launch.

Volunteers will perform with Kentucky-indigenous Chef James Garst to plan and cook dinner a meal from scratch. Garst was formerly a culinary liaison to the LEE Initiative and has 14 yrs of knowledge in the kitchen.

“I am fired up to serve and assistance others serve our visitor households,” Garst said in a launch. “I’m enthusiastic about encouraging enhance the families entry to nutritional food. I want to provide the families and convey my very own hospitality to the food program and persuade it to grow.”
