SHEBOYGAN FALLS – The Mill House, the constructing that houses the Sheboygan County Historic Study Middle, is the oldest constructing in Sheboygan County.
The building was developed in 1837, in accordance to the Historic Marker Databases.
In 1837, Sheboygan Falls pioneer Silas Stedman experienced the Greek Revival-design structure designed as a boarding property for his sawmill personnel. It grew to become identified as the Mill Dwelling and afterwards, when it served as a resort, it was identified as the Temperance Household.
Proprietor Charles D. Cole afterwards enlarged the building in 1860 so the home could be used as a two-family household. For numerous many years pursuing, it was a two-family members residence.
