Sri Lankan protesters refused to budge from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s residence on Sunday, a day following they stormed his dwelling, forcing him to flee with the navy and announce he would resign.
“Our struggle is not above,” student leader Lahiru Weerasekara advised reporters the working day just after Rajapaksa, at the moment using refuge on a vessel offshore, explained he would step down on Wednesday.
